November 4th, 2008 - THE DAY HAS COME!!!
After 30 years on this Earth and never stepping foot in the voting booth…I voted today for the first time. My experience was EXTREMELY short (no line), but I do feel oddly better about myself. Check it out:
November 3rd, 2008 - I’VE DECIDED TO…
(silence) The campaign is over. On this long journey, I’ve had to face many obstacles and experiences. A beautiful Cindy Crawford telling me I probably shouldn’t have the right to vote since I call my son Sexy Mexy. Russell Simmons dropping knowledge not only about the importance of voting, but about hot dogs causing cancer. Plus, the endless amounts of e-mails and even death threats (hugs and kisses) from passionate people telling me that after 30 years on this wonderful globe of life…I’ve really done NOTHING until I speak up as an American and vote. After thoughtful consideration and a little Jager-inspired courage, I have decided that tomorrow November 4th…I will vote.
However, I am NOT voting because it’s my right, my duty or whatever overly expressed opinion that has been shouted in my face over the last 30 years. I am voting for two people…my son and unborn child. Yeah, I know it sounds Lifetime-ish, but I realize that I am an example…a role model…and in order to wear that label on my chest I must make changes in my life each and everyday.

In the last few weeks two simple words have been uttered or displayed around DFW…TELL TROY. Where did you see or hear the statement? Was it the ad in Quick? Was it the spot running on MOVIN 107.5? How about the hundreds of stickers on anything and everything? No matter where you were, you probably wondered, “Who the hell is Troy and what do I need to tell him?” Here’s your answer.
My name is Troy. Im 30 years-old and I’ve never voted. Once again…I’ve never voted! Does that bother me? Not really. I see people stand on their soapbox and preach about how your vote counts, but does it? Does my one measly vote really count? Whether you agree with me or not, I want you to tell me…TELL TROY…why I should take the time to go vote this November.

October 10th, 2008 - Cindy Crawford wants to TELL TROY
Over the last few weeks, I have spoken to people in political office, soldiers and others that want to be heard. Their voice rings loud and clear that voting is something special and should be considered by all Americans not only a right, but a duty. (crickets SFX) I mostly hear that! However, my ears perked up, among other things, when I was able to sit down with my childhood fantasy woman, the incredibly beautiful Cindy Crawford. Although she is still a knockout, don’t let her good-looks fly by you. She graduated valedictorian in her high school class and received a scholarship to study chemical engineering at Northwestern University. The former supermodel, wife, mom and furniture entrepreneur had no problem telling me why I needed to vote:
